Piercings:
Labret:
16g - My
latest addition...I have it placed directly underneath
my lip, instead of the normal placement of halfway
between the chin and lip. I'm currently wearring
a plain steel ball, but have just ordered a jeweled
piece. I love the way this piercing looks. I had
some trepidation of getting a facial piercing
for quite a while, but changed my mind when I
saw a bank employee sporting a Monroe. I figured
if they can wear one at the bank, just about anyone
can.
This is the easiest piercing I have ever had done
by far! The needle barely pinched going through.
The popping sensation as it went through the back
of my lip was the most painful part, but as I
said, not bad at all. I was eating within an hour
of having it done, with no problems. The healing
process was almost entirely pain-free.
Navel:
14g - Not too much needs to be said about
this one. I had it done about 6 years ago, and
still love it. However, just about everyone has
had it done, so I don't need to share much about
the experience. All I can say is the healing *does*
take the full 9 months, and that bumping it hurt
during the entire healing process.
Both Nipples: 14g CBRs - First, let me
say OWWW! All of the adrenaline pumping through
my system still didn't prepare me for these. This
was the kind of pain that feels like the entire
area is on fire. The second needle going through
was worse because I was still light-headed and
reeling from the first. However, the healing was
pretty good, and I think the piercings are beautiful.
Makes small breasts more beautiful, I think. :)
Tongue: 14g - Again, another piercing that
lots of people have. Fairly painless piercing,
about 2 weeks to heal. I was on a liquids diet
until the swelling went down; about 4 days I think.
Tragus: 18g - My first needle piercing
ever. The piercing was wonderful. I did not even
feel the piercing. Healing was a little more difficult
though, as all cartilage piercings are. It crusted
a lot, and took about a year to heal completely.
