Zero is the youngest of our fuzzy troupe. He was named by Destiny, after the flying ghost-dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Life was tough for Zero when he first came home. Both Feivel and Perry were both quite a bit larger than he was, and he was tormented
constantly. For the most part we kept them seperated until Zero had a chance to grow. To start with, Zero lived with Pixie, in her
cage. Pixie was so sick that she did not bother Zero at all.
Here is Zero, just 2 months old, getting his first bath at a hotel in South Lake Tahoe. We picked him up in Reno before stopping
to meet my dad in Tahoe for a little skiing. Zero had full reign on the hotel room, although he spent most of his time sleeping.
I was a bit worried about how Zero would do on the three hour trip home from Tahoe. Looking back, I bet he did not even know
the difference as he slept almost the entire way home.
As you can see, Zero is a cinnimon mitt and cute as can be. In the past few months Zero has turned himself into the boss around
the house. Even though he is still smaller than Perry, he is certainly in charge! Just recently, we gathered the kids together
to take some pictures that we used to make a colage for Mother's Day. Now, we do not normally dress our ferrets. In fact, we
have never done it before. They seemed to enjoy it though, even if Zero took time out to try and devour my ear. With that being
said, here are the pictures of Zero.
